The French Wine Scholar™ Study and Certification program covers French wine law, grape varieties, viticulture, winemaking and all the French wine regions including Jura, Savoie and Corsica.

Our 10 week course will help you better understand France as a wine growing region of the world,
while our weekly tutored wine tasting in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere will bring into context the factors that influence the style and quality of the wines from each region of France.
The study manual provides all the information from which the 100 multiple choice question final exam is derived.

It is strongly recommended that students complete the WSET Level 2 Award in Wine and Spirits prior to embarking on the French WineScholar™ Study and Certification program.

Successfully completing the French Wine Scholar™ Study and Certification program sets a great foundation for future wine studies, including the WSET Level 3 Award in Wine and Spirits and the WSET Level 4 Diploma.
